My name is Alex, I've been the operator of Rolla Guitars Private Lessons since 2016. I've played music for about eight years now with my emphasis being guitar and piano. I've taught private guitar lessons for three years and group classes for a year, when space permits it.
I've personally played as a first chair jazz guitarist for four years in high school, while also dipping into tenor saxophone and electric bass for various other bands. In my spare time I play mostly pop and rock, with a touch of Broadway musical piano adventure when the wild hair strikes me. I've studied basic music theory and continue to explore in that direction as my skills increase. In addition to playing I continue to explore the worlds of modifications and repairs.
Lessons
Rolla Guitars is dedicated to affordable, quality lessons for anyone with a desire to play. That is why I offer half or full hour lessons on multiple instruments in a variety of genres; to provide the best quality lesson I can to any student interested.
Private Lessons
I currently offer private lessons in my home studio on electric and acoustic guitar, bass, and piano. I teach kids, teens, and adults and have a lenient cancellation policy. My studio room is handicap accessible and stocked with amps, pedals, and other gadgets to play with while exploring the musical world! For students under 12 I request a half price 30 minute lesson to gauge attention and dexterity before booking continuing lessons.
Rates
Current lesson rates are $35 per hourly lesson and $20 per half hourly lesson. You can contact me for any questions about bulk lesson packages or family rates!
